    Job Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Website Consultant for a 3-month engagement to support updates to our existing corporate website. This role will focus on refreshing page content, enhancing visuals, and ensuring that each section of the site accurately reflects our most current capabilities, products, and brand identity. The Website Consultant will collaborate closely with our internal marketing, engineering, and sales teams to gather technical and marketing information, and will partner with our coding/development team to execute more advanced updates.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Audit current website pages and identify areas for improvement in content, visuals, and user experience.

    * Update and edit website content directly in WordPress, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.

    * Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Marketing) to collect and verify updated product, service, and company information.

    * Source, edit, and upload images, graphics, and other digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    * Work with the coding/development team to implement more complex design or structural updates.

    * Partner with the SEO team to ensure search engine optimization strategies are maintained, tracked, and improved throughout the update process.

    * Utilize ChatGPT or other AI tools to assist in drafting and refining website copy where appropriate.

    * Manage website project timeline using a 30-60-90 day plan with clear deliverables and progress checkpoints.

    * Participate in daily team huddles with sales and engineering, and weekly status meetings with the Marketing Manager.

    * Test website functionality across browsers and devices to ensure quality control and performance optimization.

    * Prepare short weekly reports summarizing completed work, upcoming tasks, and any technical blockers.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    * Proven experience managing or updating websites through WordPress

    * Working knowledge of HTML/CSS basics and familiarity with coordinating more complex backend updates with a development team.

    * Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including metadata, keyword integration, and on-page optimization.

    * Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    * Ability to use AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Canva, Grammarly, etc.) for drafting and refining content.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

    * Strong organizational and project management skills - able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

    * Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles and website accessibility standards.

    * Experience in B2B, manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering-driven industries is a plus.

    30-60-90 Day Scope Example:

    First 30 Days:

    * Conduct full content audit of current website

    * Establish update priorities and page-level plan

    * Begin gathering updated content and images from internal teams

    Next 30 Days (Days 31-60):

    * Execute content and graphic updates in WordPress

    * Implement SEO and structural improvements in collaboration with SEO team

    * Collaborate with development team on advanced features or layouts

    Final 30 Days (Days 61-90):

    * Complete all content updates and quality checks

    * Review all pages for consistency and accuracy

    * Deliver final updated site to Marketing Manager with summary report and recommendations
