Essential Functions
Summary :
The Electrical Panel Assembler plays a vital role in assembling and wiring mechanical and electrical components for backup power systems. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this position involves interpreting schematics and specifications to install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways. This hands-on role ensures the safe and efficient build of high-quality electrical panels that support critical power infrastructure.
Accountabilities:
+ Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components per instructions, specifications, and schematics.
+ Layout and install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways.
+ Interpret and follow electrical schematics and layout drawings.
+ Coordinate with team members, lead supervisors, and management to meet production goals.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
+ Report safety hazards and near misses to promote a safe workplace.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest process enhancements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the electrical assembly team.

Required Knowledge/Experience:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or construction setting.
+ Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in electrical panel assembly.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. (Preferred)
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. (Preferred)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
+ Familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
+ Primarily based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
+ Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, or crouch for 8–10 hours per day.
+ Frequent use of hands to handle tools and components.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs (following OSHA standards).
+ Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively.
+ Must pass a background check and drug screening.
