    Duties Description This position will work in the Publications and Web Services Unit (PAWS) and will collaborate with content owners to create, publish, and manage digital content. This includes using front-end web technologies, including HTML and CSS, and publication design software to produce digital content that meets agency design and accessibility standards. In addition, the employee may participate in editing, proofreading, designing, formatting, and testing web, print, and multimedia content. This position can be located in LGSA’s Albany Central Office or available Regional Offices.

     

    Minimum Qualifications To be appointed to this position, you must have at least six (6) years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications.An Associate’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree, can be substituted for two (2) years of general experience.A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.A Master’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for one (1) additional year of general experience Education substitutions are not to exceed five (5) years of total experience.55b/55c Program appointment:This position may be designated 55 b/c and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility.
