Job Title: Systems AdministratorJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to install, maintain, and support a secure Microsoft Windows and Linux network. The role involves maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation. The successful candidate will provide IT-related support to quickly resolve problems and ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
Responsibilities
+ Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
+ Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
+ Perform maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates, and system configuration changes.
+ Perform scheduled backups on systems and manage data backup library, including storage of tapes, disks, and other magnetic media.
Essential Skills
+ Active Top Secret Clearance
+ 2+ years of relevant experience with a BS/BA degree
+ Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
+ Strong IT administration skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to learn administration of High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters using Microsoft HPC Pack and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
+ Familiarity with system accreditation standards for Risk Management Framework (RMF) and System Security Policy
+ Familiarity with virtualization technologies, Cisco firewalls, and networking
Work Environment
This position offers a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility and a comfortable work setting. You will be using advanced technologies and equipment to support and enhance the network infrastructure.

This is a Contract position based out of Brookpark, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
