Production Equipment Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Equipment Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot all production equipment and assist with facility systems as needed. This role involves working with metal welding equipment, casting equipment, hydraulic presses, rolling mills, and robotics. The ideal candidate will modify and optimize control programs and support SCADA systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and troubleshoot all production equipment.
+ Assist with facility systems as needed.
+ Work with metal welding equipment, casting equipment, hydraulic presses, rolling mills, and robotics.
+ Modify and optimize control programs, specifically Allen-Bradley, with Siemens preferred.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics with a preference for familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Support SCADA systems including OPC, Windows, and SQL.
+ Modify database tables as needed.
+ Collaborate with integrators and internal teams to implement improvements.
+ Occasionally work extended hours or weekends for urgent equipment issues.
+ Understand and adhere to all safety requirements and communicate identified risks to leadership.
+ Complete all 5S standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
+ Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
+ Contribute to company culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct.
+ Maintain a positive attitude, display enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
+ Perform other related duties as required.
Essential Skills
+ PLC Programming experience with Allen-Bradley or ABB robotics.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
+ Robotics experience.
+ Ability to read electrical schematics.
+ Proficiency in modifying tables in SQL.
+ Experience with Siemens PLCs, Delta-V systems, AutoCAD Electrical, SQL, ABB, and Fanuc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Delta V systems.
+ Experience with Keyence equipment.
+ Experience with ABB or Fanuc robotics.
+ Experience with Siemens systems.
+ Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Ability to program from scratch.
Work Environment
The position operates within a clean facility with standard working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of overtime. The role requires adherence to safety standards and maintenance of a safe and organized work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08/hr.
