Job Title: Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Environmental Engineer or Geologist with 1-4 years of experience. This is a great opportunity to advance your career with an innovative and established business. The preferred candidates will have experience in environmental consulting, including contaminant transport, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and environmental site remediation.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).

+ Perform site remediation and geologic characterization of soils.

+ Engage in geotechnical assessments, including geotechnical engineering reports, field investigations, and baseline reports.

+ Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design and site development.

+ Interact frequently with professional staff and clients in both public and private sectors.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology.

+ Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

+ 1-4 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

+ Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering and site remediation processes.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Licensed Professional Engineer.

+ Experience with DNR, groundwater, vapor, stormwater management, and historic reuse.

+ Strong interpersonal skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
