Job Title: Bilingual Technical Writer
Job Description
We are seeking a bilingual technical writer to develop, revise, and maintain formulation records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other technical documentation in both English and Spanish. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to gather source information and ensure accuracy. Your role will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety, and environmental regulations through translation.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation in both English and Spanish.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
+ Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Translate and update SOPs, master batch records, and policies.
+ Support document control processes and assist in audits or inspections.
+ Operate independently to resolve key issues and plan work.
+ Participate in meetings to understand manufacturing processes and ensure accurate translation.
Essential Skills
+ Fluency in both English and Spanish.
+ Experience in scientific technical writing.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to multitask and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of technical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
+ Experience writing formulation records and SOPs.
+ Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.
+ Background in process engineering within pharma is a strong plus.
+ Candidates from the medical device industry may be considered if they have a relevant educational background (e.g., life sciences, engineering).
+ Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
