Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems for advanced chiller applications. This role involves creating detailed electrical schematics, specifying components, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and datacenter requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electrical schematics for control panels and power panels supporting chiller systems.
• Specify electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.
• Ensure proper load balancing, fault protection, and system redundancy in all designs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for panel fabrication and installation.
• Verify compliance with applicable electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and datacenter standards.
• Develop and maintain wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Support panel testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

Deliverables
• Complete electrical design packages including schematics, panel layouts, and component specifications.
• Prepare technical specifications and vendor evaluation reports.
• Provide installation and commissioning support documentation.
• Deliver final system performance validation reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design for industrial or HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI interfaces preferred.
• Strong understanding of NEC and IEC standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
