    Job Title: MEP BIM Designer

     

    Position Type: Full-Time

    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced MEP BIM Designer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed BIM models to support design and construction processes for complex building projects in the Milwaukee area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and maintain MEP BIM models in Revit and other BIM platforms according to project standards.

    + Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and coordination.

    + Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

    + Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building components.

    + Support project teams with model updates, revisions, and documentation throughout design and construction phases.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

    + Assist in implementing BIM workflows, templates, and best practices within the organization.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    + Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

    + Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP BIM design and coordination.

    + Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM 360 is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of MEP systems design principles and construction processes.

    + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $67.30/hr.
