    Job Title: Process EngineerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing and refining manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will lead process improvement projects and collaborate with various departments to integrate new processes and technologies.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and refine manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality while reducing costs.

    + Lead and participate in process improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Manage process improvement projects from conception to implementation, aligning with organizational goals.

    + Analyze process data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend performance-enhancing solutions.

    + Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams for seamless integration of new processes.

    + Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process specifications, procedures, and changes.

    + Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff on process best practices and safety protocols.

    + Lead asset implementation in the plant, including preparing design reviews and obtaining necessary approvals.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in implementing process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

    + Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing complex manufacturing issues and implementing effective solutions.

    + Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

    + Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet objectives and timelines.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of process engineering, time studies, line balancing, and work instructions.

    + Experience in production transfer and new product introduction.

    + Background in industrial and manufacturing engineering.

    Work Environment

    You will work alongside one other senior engineer. The role occasionally requires working late nights and approximately two Saturdays a month to stay on track with project timelines.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Concord, NH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
