Job Title: Phlebotomist - Part Time
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves drawing patients' blood and processing specimens within a doctor's office setting. The position requires a strong commitment to quality and adherence to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Ensure accurate entry of specimens into the company's computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
+ Handle pre and post aspects of analytical testing.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen processing.
+ Experience in blood draw and patient care.
+ Comfortable working independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience required (donor, plasma and MA phlebotomy does not qualify).
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
The position is based inside a doctor's office where you will draw blood from the physician's patients and collaborate closely with medical assistants. The work hours are from 8 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers opportunities for growth and career advancement through a structured career ladder available after six months, with potential for a 4% pay increase. The company believes in internal promotion for leadership roles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
