    Job Title: Test Engineering TechnicianJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer or Test Technician to join our team in support of advanced space programs. This exciting opportunity involves working on cutting-edge satellite and spaceborne systems crucial for national security and next-generation space technology.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform electrical testing and validation on spacecraft components, including imaging and sensor systems.

    + Conduct continuity, isolation, and insulation resistance checks to ensure compliance with stringent aerospace standards.

    + Execute functional and performance tests under simulated space conditions, such as thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMI/EMC environments.

    + Analyze test data, troubleshoot anomalies, and provide detailed documentation for qualification and acceptance.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system-level integration and mission readiness.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

    + 3+ years of experience in electrical testing for aerospace or defense hardware.

    + Familiarity with space qualification standards such as NASA, MIL-STD, and ECSS.

    + Hands-on experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and automated test systems.

    + Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and meet strict compliance requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with satellite payloads or imaging systems.

    + Knowledge of radiation-hard electronics and space environmental testing.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.

    + Experience working in an aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    + Capacity to comply with federally mandated U.S. export control laws.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a cleanroom and office environment, offering the chance to work on mission-critical space programs that shape the future of defense and exploration. The role includes collaborating with industry-leading engineers and gaining exposure to advanced technologies. There is potential for this contract position to transition into a direct role, though this is not guaranteed.

    This is a Contract position based out of Littleton, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
