    Description

    • Provides sales and marketing departments with territory service needs and sales leads information. • Provide customers with on-site technical support and training for prime product installations. • Assists in the development and maintenance of technical publications libraries. • Travels throughout all territories to call on and sell all prime product parts, service and related products. • Responsible for assisting in executing sales plans to include cold calling, and site visits. • Works as liaison between MEGA functional departments and customers for service repairs, modifications, parts returns and warranty issues. • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Works with accounting department on required paperwork. • Prepares reports of business transactions, trip reports and monitors expense accounts.

    2+ years Customer Product Support experience 2 + years Mobile/Heavy equipment experience 2+ years Preparing Sales Contracts and Quotes Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write and edit routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • The employee must have good public contact and interpersonal skills and conduct oneself in a manner that is professional and business-like at all times. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION 2-5 years’ of experience working on heavy mobile equipment in the construction and/or mining industry. This includes working on system hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and control systems. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
