    Job Title: Manufacturing/Process Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to enhance and sustain our manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems, ensuring efficient production and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.

    + Conceptualize and implement new tools, fixtures, and methods to improve product quality and cost-efficiency.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain.

    + Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Source, test, and qualify production equipment.

    + Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities.

    + Evaluate manufacturing processes for energy use, material waste, and environmental impact.

    + Drive cost-reduction initiatives through design-for-manufacturability and process optimization.

    + Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.

    + Troubleshoot equipment and tools.

    + Work with suppliers to resolve design and production issues.

    + Act as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, quality, sales, and supply chain.

    + Create operational and manufacturing engineering presentations and reports.

    + Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

    + Participate in coaching and training of production operators and staff.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering field.

    + Expertise in process improvement and manufacturing engineering.

    + Proficiency in tooling and CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.

    + Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and DMAIC problem-solving.

    + Experience in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling.

    + Ability to assess and document risks in processes.

    + Understanding of statistical techniques and design of experiments.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with digital CMMS.

    + Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

    + Ability to mentor and train team members.

    + Physical ability to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum.

    Work Environment

    This role requires regular sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. The position involves exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and moving parts. Prolonged use of a computer screen is expected.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Coppell, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
