    Olsten Staffing is partnering with a well-established company in the Ansonville, North Carolina area in recruiting for a **Receiving Operator.** Please apply now if you like to be a part of a great company!

     

    General purpose of the position: Unload (hopper bottom, dump) trailers and railcars. Maintain all paperwork associated with receiving operations.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Ability to communicate and follow directions both orally and in writing.

    + Must be able to complete receiving logs with readable penmanship.

    + Train annually and follow all applicable SOPs and cGMPs pertaining to Food Safety, Quality, regulatory Compliances, and Safety.

    + To stand for long periods of time.

    + Withstanding extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) 0 to 100+ degrees.

    + To Climb/travel to heights 0-180 feet (must be able to wear fall protection for inspecting the top of railcars.)

    + Able to work in and around dust particles.

    + Able to lift 75 lbs.

    + Perform weekly housekeeping of assigned areas.

    + Possess basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

    Physical demands:

    + Repetitive lifting of up to 75 lbs.

    + Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, turning, twisting, and walking.

    + Work in varying job conditions including heat, cold, damp, inside, outside.

     

    This position will start at $15 an hour with a chance of becoming permanent with the client.

    **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
