    **Job Type:** Full-Time | Direct Hire

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

     

    Overview

     

    We’re seeking a **Bilingual (Spanish/English)** and experienced **Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)** to join our healthcare team in **Tampa, FL 33607** . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both **OBGYN and Primary Care** , with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

     

    This is a **weekday-only, onsite position** offering excellent **benefits starting on Day One** — perfect for a dedicated professional looking to grow within a mission-driven healthcare organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion.

    + Collect and record vital signs, perform patient intake, and document accurately in **Epic EMR** .

    + Assist providers during OBGYN and primary care exams, procedures, and treatments.

    + Administer medications and injections as ordered by the provider (if certified).

    + Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.

    + Handle front-office responsibilities including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out.

    + Maintain exam rooms and equipment in clean, safe, and organized condition.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA, AHMG, and other clinical regulations.

    + Communicate effectively with patients and team members in **both English and Spanish** .

    + Support the organization’s mission and values in every patient interaction.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Graduate of a **CAAHEP** or **ABHES-accredited** Medical Assistant program.

    + **Current Medical Assistant certification** from AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA.

    + **Current CPR certification.**

    + **Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.**

    + **Experience in both OBGYN and Primary Care** (required).

    + **Bilingual in Spanish and English** (required).

    + **Experience with Epic EMR** (required).

    + Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a high-volume clinical setting.
