Job Title: Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Warehouse Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing conveyor systems and coordinating necessary repairs. Your primary duties include clearing jams, conducting area inspections, and organizing maintenance activities. You will work closely with the maintenance team on various projects and will be responsible for parts coordination and ordering.

Responsibilities

+ Clear jams on the conveyors and in the nets that catch packages.

+ Perform regular area walks to ensure there are no jams.

+ Conduct 5S duties to maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Coordinate and order parts for maintenance and repairs.

+ Collaborate with the maintenance team on various projects.

+ Walk up to 3-5 miles a day as part of your duties.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Experience with installation, assembly, and general labor tasks.

+ Ability to perform maintenance repairs and troubleshoot equipment.

+ Competency in wire organization and connections.

+ Capability to handle heavy lifting and material handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction, mechanical, and general electrical maintenance.

+ Ability to operate machinery and perform general installation tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature controlled and spans a vast area of 4.1 million square feet. Employees are required to wear PPE, including high-visibility vests, glasses, hard hats, gloves, earplugs, and steel-toed shoes or boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose, baggy clothing for safety reasons.

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
