Job Title:** **CMM Programmer – Dimensional Inspection & Metrology (Saint Paul, MN)

About the Role

**Join our new product launch team** as a **CMM Programmer** , where you’ll create **inspection programs** , determine inspection methods, and ensure **machined part quality** meets customer specifications. This role also supports **engineering revisions** , **process improvements** , and provides additional inspection services.

Key Responsibilities

+ Set up, program, and perform **dimensional inspections** using a **Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)** .

+ Interpret **complex drawings** , control plans, and work instructions to identify inspection features.

+ Use **micrometers, calipers** , and a wide range of gauges for planned inspections.

+ Document detailed inspection results and prepare **full dimensional layouts** for customer submission.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in **CMM programming and operation** .

+ Proficiency in **GD&T** and **PC-DMIS software** .

+ Strong computer skills, including **MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)** .

Preferred Qualifications

+ Formal training in **GD&T** , **metrology** , and **CMM programming** .

+ PC-DMIS CAD/CAM experience.

+ Familiarity with **C++** , **CNC programming** , **Mastercam** , and machining processes.

+ Skilled in using **micrometers, calipers, height gauges** , and other precision tools.
