    DIRECT HIRE OPPENING for an INJECTION MOLDING TECNICIAN (Process Technician)

    Job Description

    Ensure that scheduled preventive maintenance for injection molding machines (IMMs) and molds are completed efficiently, while suggesting improvements as needed. Support robotic programming updates and provide emergency maintenance for molds, robots, and equipment. Drive production improvements by addressing errors and preventing defects through root cause analysis. Collaborate on mold setups, machine parameters, and spare parts management. Operate necessary equipment and adapt to workflow changes.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete scheduled preventive maintenance for injection molding machines and molds.

    + Support robotic programming updates and handle emergency maintenance for molds, robots, and equipment.

    + Address production errors and prevent defects using root cause analysis.

    + Collaborate on mold setups, machine parameters, and spare parts management.

    + Attend, lead, and participate in morning meetings with employees at shift change, focusing on quality and productivity.

    + Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all incoming and outgoing material.

    + Train new employees in assigned areas.

    + Conduct quality inspections to ensure machines are producing according to specifications.

    + Manage the flow of materials to production.

    + Safely operate forklifts when needed.

    + Provide effective employee coaching and development.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience working in plastic injection molding.

    + 3+ years of experience performing mold setting and changes.

    + 3+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on injection mold equipment.

    + Proficiency in injection molding, mold tooling, and troubleshooting.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

    The work environment is a non-climate-controlled plant with standard hazards typical of a manufacturing plant, where safety precautions and personal protective equipment are required at all times. Noise levels in certain areas can be loud. The plant is clean, organized, and family-oriented.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Conover, NC.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00/yr.

    The first of month following 60-days employment:

    BCBS Medical 80/20 split for employee only / company pays 50% for family members

     

    Delta Dental employee only 100% company paid / company pays 50% for family members

     

    VSP employee only 100% company paid / company pays 50% for family members
