Inventory Coordinator
About the Role
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for material allocation, receiving, FIFO compliance, lot controls, cycle counting, and physical inventory. This role ensures accurate record-keeping of live inventory across multiple locations and communicates with location managers to maintain required inventory usage.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Allocate raw material usage based on Material Usage tags submitted by facilities
+ Monitor raw material and supply levels to identify shortages in collaboration with procurement
+ Review BOMs and analyze differences in material allocation
+ Create detailed reports for allocation discrepancies
+ Lead regular cycle counting processes and make adjustments as needed
+ Collaborate with procurement to avoid excessive surplus
+ Communicate missing inventory usage to leadership promptly
+ Work with cross-functional teams to align objectives and operational plans
+ Ensure inventory is audit compliant
+ Maintain compliance with safety and security policies
+ Up to 25% travel may be required
+ Assist with other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Inventory management experience required
+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
+ Experience with ERP systems
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Knowledge of manufacturing departments such as customer service, logistics, operations, and procurement
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Understanding of P&L impacts from inventory transactions

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
