Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up Cincinnati and Baykal Presses. You will be responsible for running various jobs within the .005 - .035 tolerance range and handling thicknesses from .020 to .250. Your role will also involve assisting engineering teams in calculating flat layouts and applying your experience in long run operations, which includes managing multiple setups. A key part of your job will be conducting quality checks throughout all stages of the process and providing the first and last pieces to the quality team for inspection.

Responsibilities

+ Set up Cincinnati and Baykal Presses.

+ Operate press brake machines to run various jobs within specified tolerance and thickness ranges.

+ Assist engineering in calculating flat layouts.

+ Utilize long run experience to manage multiple setups.

+ Conduct quality checks throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.

+ Provide first and last pieces to the quality team for inspection.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with brake press machines, including setup and operation.

+ Proficient in troubleshooting press brake operations.

+ Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

+ At least 1 year of experience in Multi Axis and Setup operations of a press brake.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience on a Cincinnati press brake is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
