Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We have 10 immediate openings for machine operators to join our team, starting from November 17th. Positions are available for the 2nd shift, from 2 pm to 10 pm, and the 3rd shift, from 10 pm to 6 am. You will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding machines, inserting and removing parts, and performing visual inspections as parts are processed. The role requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate robotic welding machines.
+ Insert parts into the machine and remove them after processing.
+ Perform visual inspections on parts as they exit the machine.
+ Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.
+ 6 months of machine operating experience.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in machine operation and production.
+ Familiarity with general labor tasks.
+ Knowledge of robotic welding processes.

Work Environment
Work in a metal facility with both robotic and manual welding processes, comprising 40 robotic weld cells. Embrace a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where safety and teamwork are prioritized.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Byron Center, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
