    Job Title: Sustaining Field Service Technician (Day Shift)

    Job Description

    This role involves sustaining, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment on-site. The technician must be able to wear a bunny suit and respirator, with the possibility of wearing a respirator up to 70% of the time. The role demands working with dirty tools and around hazardous materials, with a focus on heavier troubleshooting tasks that are evenly split between electrical and mechanical issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and troubleshoot large equipment and machinery.

    + Maximize output using constraint management techniques.

    + Sustain processes and address equipment issues.

    + Train and cross-train team members to build a self-sustaining team.

    + Provide installation and service support to ensure the continuation and expansion of thermal management systems business.

    Essential Skills

    + Good problem-solving ability.

    + Ability to manage personal activities and support team activities.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Flexibility and capability to handle multi-task operations with attention to detail.

    + Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.

    + Experience in service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associates degree preferred in technical, automotive/diesel, or related field.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Electro-Mechanical experience (2+ years).

    + Experience with schematics is a plus.

    + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and multi-meter.

    + Strong communication skills for working with clients and teams.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Comfortable in a clean room environment and getting into clean room attire.

    + Comfortable wearing a respirator and working in confined spaces.

    + Comfortable working with hazardous materials and chemicals.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.75/hr.
