Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will perform various plant maintenance tasks, including working with forklifts, packaging, and process equipment, as well as other related manufacturing equipment. You will also be responsible for facility maintenance when necessary, ensuring that safety is the top priority and that maintenance records are up-to-date. Collaboration with other employees, including operators, and troubleshooting and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance on forklifts, packaging, process, and other manufacturing equipment.

+ Conduct facility maintenance as needed.

+ Prioritize safety in all tasks and ensure maintenance records are current.

+ Collaborate with other employees, including operators, to ensure effective maintenance operations.

+ Troubleshoot and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.

+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic hose troubleshooting and replacement.

+ Maintenance of packaging and conveyance equipment.

+ Experience with motors, pumps, and valves.

+ Knowledge of 480V 3 phase electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 3+ years of maintenance experience.

+ Computer abilities with Windows and CMMS.

+ PLC knowledge is a plus.

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment

Work in a non-temperature controlled adhesive manufacturing facility. The position is for the 1st shift, from 7am to 3pm, and involves working with technologies such as photoeyes, Allen-Bradley systems, and plumbing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
