Job Title: Screw Machinist
Job Description
As a Screw Machinist, you will operate and set up Acme Gridley Screw machines to create parts for tool bit holders. These machines, though older, are invaluable due to their unique functionality. You will be responsible for loading stock into the spindles and inspecting completed parts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and set up Acme Gridley Screw machines.
+ Load stock into the machine spindles.
+ Inspect parts upon completion for quality assurance.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in CNC and machine operating.
+ Knowledge of screw machines, manual machining, and use of micrometers and calipers.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Familiarity with CNC machines and manual lathes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Specific screw machine experience is not required but preferred.
+ Experience with Acme Gridley screw machines or similar manual lathe/swiss machines is highly desirable.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and continuously improving shop environment, equipped with some older machines alongside ongoing updates to ensure a bright and welcoming space. The position is on a 1st shift schedule, with hours from 6am-5pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
