Job Title:** **Ammonia Refrigeration Technician – Industrial Maintenance

About the Role

**We’re seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician** to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform **preventive maintenance** , troubleshoot and repair **industrial refrigeration systems** , and ensure production uptime. You’ll also handle **boiler checks** , **equipment overhauls** , and work on **electrical** , **welding** , **pneumatic** , and **hydraulic systems** . Key Responsibilities

+ Perform **preventive maintenance** on ammonia refrigeration equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair systems to maintain production uptime.

+ Conduct regular **boiler and refrigeration checks** .

+ Overhaul and update equipment as needed.

+ Repair and maintain **electrical** , **hydraulic** , **pneumatic** , and **welding systems** .

+ Complete additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

+ **Experience:** Background in **Ammonia Refrigeration** .

+ 3+ years in **mechanical maintenance** , including installation and troubleshooting.

+ **Skills:** Knowledge of **hydraulics** , **pneumatics** , **electricity** , **plumbing** , and **PLCs** .

+ Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bend, lift, twist).

+ **Preferred:** MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher.

+ Experience with **industrial refrigeration systems** and **preventive maintenance** .

Work Environment & Schedule

+ High noise levels, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust.

+ PPE required for safety.

+ **Rotating Schedule:** Monday–Wednesday + rotating weekends OR Wednesday–Friday + rotating weekends.

+ **Second Shift:** 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM

+ 40 hours per week with alternating weeks of 30 hours straight time + 10 hours overtime for extra time off.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51272.00 - $62628.00/yr.
