**Shift:** 7am-5:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

**Location:** Fairfield, NJ

**Pay:** $20/hour ; Overtime: $30/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the distribution and shipment of parts according to specified guidelines. This role involves organizing materials, scheduling shipments, and ensuring all processes align with regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Ship parts according to specifications and approved packaging.

+ Distribute parts to production departments.

+ Receive incoming items and allocate them to correct locations.

+ Organize parts and packaging materials.

+ Schedule shipments and prepare shipping documents/labels per DOT, IATA, and customer requirements.

+ Perform data entry using the company’s business system (FBS).

+ Assist with packaging, physical counting, distribution, and reconciliation.

+ Maintain confidentiality of all processed information.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping, logistics, or related fields.

+ Proficient computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing.

+ Strong verbal and listening communication skills for interactions with internal teams and vendors.

+ Ability to handle physical workload.

+ Capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Forklift operation skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
