NOW HIRING 2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Electrical Technician!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all electrical, electronic, and equipment controls with a focus on safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Handle all electrical, electronic, and equipment controls with a focus on safety, quality, and production efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot and repair production equipment on both mechanical and electrical levels, including machine controls, robots, HMIs, PLCs, motors, drives, and communication equipment.

+ Understand electronic circuits, read and draw PLC logics, and CAD electrical and mechanical drawings.

+ Install and/or troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical components such as motors, VFDs, motion systems, and electrical connection parts like relays, termination blocks, and sensors.

+ Maintain automation equipment software.

+ Perform electrical and electrical safety compliance checks.

+ Conduct control system and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance as assigned by a supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, PLCs, pneumatics, pumps, and motors.

+ Ability to read and interpret drawings.

+ Experience in electrical/PLC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 1+ years of experience in a similar role with experience in PLCs, electrical systems, HMIs, and an understanding of electrical circuits.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.

+ Willingness to work overtime.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This position requires working the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, from midnight to 8 am. Overtime may be required depending on workload and could involve starting 4 hours before or staying 4 hours after the scheduled shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waverly, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
