Job Title: SMT Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented SMT Inspector to operate SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, and Wash Machines. You will be responsible for setting up and tearing down SMT machines according to detailed work instructions, ensuring the quality of assembled boards, and maintaining production records accurately.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, AOI systems, and Wash Machines.
+ Set up and teardown SMT machines according to detailed work instructions.
+ Load feeders with electronic components according to setup sheets.
+ Verify components and follow production documentation.
+ Make minor machine adjustments and clear machine jams as needed.
+ Position PCBs on machine fixtures and monitor machine operation.
+ Perform visual inspection of assembled boards for quality issues.
+ Complete production records and batch logs accurately.
+ Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly, production line, manufacturing, or production.
+ Mechanically inclined.
+ Ability to stand during the majority of the shift.
+ Experience in electronic assembly and using hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided.
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
+ Strong vision and hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Ability to work well in a team environment.
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work in a lean manufacturing environment that is clean and organized. The workspace is bright and fairly quiet, though there may be a paint-like smell in certain areas. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
