Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler Forklift operator to join our team within a large aerospace manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities. This role involves verifying paperwork, handling work orders, and following precise shipping instructions.

Responsibilities

+ Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.

+ Perform kitting and assembly line tasks.

+ Operate and train others as a forklift operator.

+ Handle shipping and receiving, including packaging orders and loading/unloading trucks.

+ Utilize SAP for data entry and material handling tasks.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of experience with FedEx and UPS.

+ Proficiency in computer usage.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to operate a forklift and train others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with pallet jack operations.

+ Familiarity with SAP, PO, and general production tasks.

+ Experience in packing, stockroom, and material handling.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at a large aerospace manufacturing company. Candidates may be required to stand for the entire shift, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with exposure to the latest technologies in material handling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.66 - $21.66/hr.
