Job Title: Junior Fire Sprinkler/ Plumbing Installer

Job Description

As a Junior Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will engage in the installation of various types of pipes and sprinkler systems. Your work will involve handling sprinkler pipes, grooved pipes, screw pipes, and cast iron pipes. You will be responsible for installing main lines, branch lines, and sprinkler heads.

Responsibilities

+ Install sprinkler pipes, grooved pipes, screw pipes, and cast iron pipes.

+ Set up main lines and branch lines for sprinkler systems.

+ Install sprinkler heads according to project specifications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation.

+ Utilize power and hand tools efficiently for installation purposes.

Essential Skills

+ Must have 3+ years of experience as a Plumber/Fire Sprinkler Installer

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Experience with installation and plumbing in construction environments.

+ Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Osha 30 certification.

+ Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment

Work is based in Long Island, covering Suffolk and Nassau areas. The standard work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hicksville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
