Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 2nd shift diesel mechanic to join our team for a long-term position. You will be responsible for repairing and fixing large, heavy-duty diesel trucks, with an emphasis on gaining a diverse set of skills in an independent retail shop environment.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain large and heavy-duty diesel trucks.

+ Utilize mechanical aptitude and skills to troubleshoot and fix issues.

+ Work with a variety of brands such as Caterpillar, Detroit, and Mercedes.

+ Learn and apply new skills in a retail shop setting.

Work Environment

Join a small semi-truck diesel repair shop that has been serving the twin cities trucking industry for 40 years. This family-owned shop is an authorized OEM dealer for parts and repairs for Caterpillar, Detroit engines, and Western Star Trucks. You'll work alongside a team of 10-12 mechanics, many of whom excel in engine work, providing an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, retail shop setting

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
