Job Title: Janitorial Worker $19/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to maintain cleanliness and order in our production area. This role is vital to ensuring a sanitary and clutter-free environment for our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for general housekeeping in the production area.

+ Operate power scrubber to maintain cleanliness.

+ Keep restrooms in an orderly and sanitary condition.

+ Remove trash to dumpster from various receptacles throughout the facility.

+ Maintain production aisles and areaways in a clutter-free environment.

+ Perform any other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in cleaning and janitorial tasks.

+ Familiarity with production environments is advantageous.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in a production environment is a plus.

+ Physical stamina for extended time on feet and frequent walking.

+ Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with hand/power tools.

+ Ability to work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts.

Work Environment

This position requires physical activity, including frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will operate floor equipment and may need to push or pull carts requiring a force of up to 50 lbs. Safety protocols are emphasized, particularly when working with another team member to lift heavier objects. The work requires occasional operation from ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.

Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of your contribution after your first year of employment) among others.
