    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. You will manage daily production activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and SOPs.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure optimal efficiency.

    + Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.

    + Manage and lead a team in a unionized environment, fostering a positive and productive work culture.

    + Oversee control room operations and ensure smooth plant operations.

    + Collaborate with management to implement production plans and improve processes.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year associate degree is preferred.

    + Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

    + At least 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience supervising in a union environment is preferred.

    + Control room or lab experience is a plus.

    + Experience in the cement, lime, or aggregate industry is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an outdoor cement plant environment that can be dirty and dusty. The role involves rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm, and 10:30 pm – 6:30 am. The schedule includes 7 days on day shift with 4 days off, 7 days on night shift with 2 days off, and 6 days on the second shift with 2 days off. Employees will work one weekend per cycle.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Stockertown, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in Stockertown,PA.
