    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a rapidly expanding company. Specializing in the manufacturing of beverage syrups and concentrates, our company packages products into bottles, bag-in-box, bag-in-case, totes, drums, and portion cups. Experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing is highly recommended.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and plan a two shift operation to enhance efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality and yields.

    + Follow overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals.

    + Monitor production metrics to identify and resolve issues, implementing process improvements.

    + Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through staff training, equipment maintenance, and tool requirements.

    + Coach teams in best practices to maintain a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues.

    + Manage 38 subordinate staff in their daily tasks, including 3 supervisors.

    Essential Skills

    + Production management and supervision experience.

    + Proficiency in continuous improvement and process improvement strategies.

    + Experience in food, beverage, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

    + Leadership experience in manufacturing processes.

    + Management skills in lean manufacturing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree or proven successful experience in production management.

    + 3+ years of successful management experience.

    + Experience with SQF, FDA, or food safety audits is a plus.

    + Preferred experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing.

    The work environment includes a mixture of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas within the plant.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Maitland, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

     

    Holiday Pay: 8 paid days off on holidays, plus we close at 3:00 pm on Good Friday

    Earn Vacation Days:

    After 6 months – 1 week (to be used before 1 year, 40 hours – does not have to be earned)

     

    After 1 year – 2 weeks

     

    After 3 years – 3 weeks

     

    After 10 years – 4 weeks

    Paid Time Off for Hourly Employees:

    Accrues 4 hours every month. Max of 48 hours. Calendar Basis (01/01-12/31)
