Job Title: Junior Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a new team member to join our domestic logistics group. The ideal candidate is a diligent, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a unique hybrid role encompassing administrative support and outbound logistics. For the right person, there is ample opportunity for growth and progression as skills are developed.
Responsibilities
+ Use various customer portals to route shipments for customer pickups as requested.
+ Produce custom pack-slips for a subset of customers.
+ Address logistics-related questions and issues from sales representatives, Customer Service, and other internal departments regarding transportation operations.
+ Collaborate with carriers to resolve disputes as needed.
+ Work with traffic to follow up on returns, mis-shipments, and re-routed goods.
+ Coordinate with customer service and finance on freight-related issues.
+ Perform daily administrative tasks as required.
Essential Skills
+ Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work well in a team.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
+ Recent office experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
+ Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week) with exceptional attendance and punctuality.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adjust daily tasks to meet shifting priorities.
+ Strong personal organizational skills and time management abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Transportation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
+ Experience in customer service, inventory management, freight handling, supply chain operations, dispatch, third-party logistics, shipping and receiving, Microsoft Office, transportation, data entry, logistics, inventory control, order entry, administration, and negotiation.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00/hr.
