    Job Title: Facilities Technician

    Job Description

    As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of building and clinic facilities. Your role includes troubleshooting and repairing minor issues related to electrical, HVAC, lighting, and appliances, as well as performing structural repairs and light painting.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete checklists and log maintenance tickets.

    + Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, lighting, and appliance issues.

    + Perform minor structural repairs such as walls, ceilings, and floors, and conduct light painting.

    + Coordinate and escort third-party vendors.

    + Keep workspaces clean and hazard-free.

    + Maintain relationships with building management and understand building regulations.

    + Respond to facility support requests.

    + Participate in the safety team and promote safe practices.

    + Use maintenance and ticketing systems for task tracking.

    + Follow preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate vendor services as needed.

    + Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership.

    + Utilize Microsoft Office and internal messaging tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and facilities maintenance.

    + Experience as a maintenance technician with HVAC and mechanical repair skills.

    + Ability to perform preventive maintenance.

    + High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).

    + Minimum 2 years of facilities experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Trade school or relevant certifications and/or job experience.

    + Familiarity with drywall repair.

    + Effective communication and the use of Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to stay updated on new technologies.

    Work Environment

     

    Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Parking is provided. The role involves working closely with staff, vendors, and leadership, utilizing modern technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
