    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic electronics industry organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process invoices, verify transaction codes, and audit expense reports to prepare vouchers for payment.

    • Issue manual checks and ensure all payments are accurately documented.

    • Conduct computerized check runs and maintain organized records of all supporting documentation.

    • Research and resolve discrepancies by working with warehouse personnel to locate missing purchase orders or receivers.

    • Develop and maintain basic Excel spreadsheets to support financial reporting and data analysis.

    • Perform data entry tasks and ensure accurate input of financial information into the system.

    • Assist with routine clerical tasks, including matching invoices and purchase orders.

    • Operate office equipment such as 10-key calculators to complete daily tasks efficiently. Requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.

    • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and check runs.

    • Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP, as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.

    • Basic knowledge of chart of accounts and the ability to perform routine clerical matching duties.

    • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

    • Ability to operate general office equipment, including 10-key calculators.

    • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve unmatched invoice issues and address discrepancies effectively.
