Position Summary

Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. Just a stone's throw from downtown, where the city's culture comes to life, we get to experience the best of both worlds: the city and the mountains. Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Our factory is also proud to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.

As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for accurately and effectively supporting the plant Maintenance Group by supporting the preventative and predictive maintenance program utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will collaborate with Operations Planning, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to coordinate planned maintenance activities that ensure proper asset care and reliability. You will also be responsible for all maintenance work order KPI tracking and trending management.

+ Issue, update, modify, and schedule preventative maintenance and work orders in SAP.

+ Stage parts for projects and work orders as needed.

+ Dispense parts to the maintenance personnel as efficiently as possible to reduce downtime.

+ Work with Manager, peers, and Technicians to ensure completion of equipment upgrades.

+ Communicate with vendors regarding replacement parts and new parts as needed.

+ Accurately report on maintenance measures to Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors.

Requirements

+ High School diploma or GED equivalent.

+ 1+ years of maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000 - $107,000 per year. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
