SUMMARY
In this role you will serve as the Finance Analyst (Field & Account Sales) supporting the Out of Home Sales Organization. This position provides financial & economic insights that empower investment decisions and is a key contributor to the achievement of the Out of Home division’s sales growth and margin expansion objectives.
The position will be responsible for delivering, actionable analysis and recommendations to assure/facilitate the efficient use of commercial resources for the scope of customer responsibility. In this role you will influence business partners to drive decisions that will improve performance and help the business meet or exceed its objectives while ensuring these decisions meet financial, legal, and Nestlé Accounting practices. You will be able to effectively collaborate and communicate across multiple functions throughout the organization to promote alignment to get results. The role provides opportunities to lead projects and think strategically while dealing with business complexity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Participating in the development of the customer/channel strategy and trade planning while collaborating with commercial teams to drive analysis of business trends.
•Partnering with internal and external support teams in compliance with Nestlé Trade Policy and Procedures.
•Providing support for unauthorized customer claims and working with support teams to review, format, distribute and automate reports for payments and other trade related needs
•Optimizing trade spend investments: Ensuring procedures are in place to verify customer performance required to earn funding.
•Custodian of Sales Finance internal controls and assurance that funding practices align with internal and external guidelines
•Partnering with Field and Account Sales Team provide financial guidance in customer negotiations.
•Providing ongoing Finance and Sales Analysis, improving the Customer Sales Teams acumen for business decisions
•Validating and performing "sense checks" in the forecast for scope of responsibility (NNS, TTS, Customer Contribution) to ensure alignment with monthly business planning and the Dynamic Forecasting.
REQUIREMENTS
•BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other related major.
•A minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting, financial or sales trade analysis.
•Resolve conflicts / discrepancies positively and expertly
•Work independently in solving business issues and taking initiative
•Partner with sales/other functional teams to drive business results and meet deliverables
•Utilize data to identify risks and opportunities and make recommendations
•Communicate effectively and expertly in written and verbal form, including presentation skills
