Pay: $19-$20 an hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts available

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role ensures timely and accurate loading/unloading of products while maintaining compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers according to delivery schedules.

+ Move inventory to designated storage areas and maintain proper stock rotation.

+ Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.

+ Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of product movement.

+ Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

+ Support general warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

+ Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
