    Maintenance Apprentice

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Apprentice, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to gain hands-on experience in machine maintenance and repair. This role is perfect for individuals with automotive or industrial experience, and military veterans are also encouraged to apply. We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual eager to learn and grow within the company.

    Responsibilities

    + Learn to operate and maintain the Emmeci Machine, a rigid box folding machine.

    + Assist in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.

    + Regularly oil and grease machines according to the maintenance schedule.

    + Maintain a safe and orderly work area around machinery.

    + Be willing to work overtime hours as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting

    + Mechanical skills

    + Understanding of hydraulics

    + HVAC knowledge

    + Experience with blending and engineering

    + Batching and calibration skills

    + Diesel engine knowledge

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Maintenance technician experience

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with industrial or automotive repair

    + Knowledge of pneumatics and bearings

    + Skills in preventive maintenance and repair

    + Welding experience

    + Desire to learn and grow within the role

    Work Environment and Shift

     

    The position operates Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm, with overtime as needed for repairs.

     

    The facility is a non-air conditioned facility where you will have to wear PPE.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
