Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our billing operations by managing invoicing, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The role is in-office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and process invoices to ensure timely and accurate billing.

• Upload and manage invoices in the organization’s billing system.

• Maintain up-to-date and organized billing records for easy reference.

• Utilize tools like Excel and their in-house system to support billing operations.

• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Generate and distribute billing statements to customers as needed.

• Assist in the collection of outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to billing.

• Support the transition of billing processes to updated systems, if applicable.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing-related inquiries efficiently.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or related roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other software's.

• Strong understanding of computerized billing systems and processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.

• Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and manage payment collections.

• Experience in generating and managing billing statements.

• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
