Job Title: Utility Worker

Job Description

In this role, you will be trained to perform a variety of tasks throughout the warehouse, acting as a floater between departments. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, hanging garments, and preparing items for delivery. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys diverse tasks and seeks to avoid monotony. As a uniform company, all work will be related to clothing and office supplies.

Responsibilities

+ Unload trucks efficiently and safely.

+ Hang garments and ensure they are ready for distribution.

+ Prepare items for deliveries, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

+ Assist in warehouse packing and general labor tasks.

+ Perform material handling and manual labor as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, and warehouse operations.

+ Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

+ Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Competency in inventory management and order picking.

+ Capable of standing for 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.

Work Environment

Work in a large industrial warehouse, which can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The position operates on a 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
