    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Mechanic, where you will work in the field performing rigging, service, installation, and repairs on motors and rotating equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in every task.

     

    Pay Rate: $28-$32/hour

    Responsibilities

    + Perform rigging, service, installation, and repairs on motors and rotating equipment.

    + Understand and adhere to all safety processes and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    + Read and comprehend job work orders to determine job status, work authorization, limitations, and scope.

    + Accurately complete required documentation for each job on a timely basis.

    + Work effectively alone, as a crew member, or as a crew leader in a team effort.

    + Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC motors, generators, gearboxes, pumps, and various types of industrial equipment.

    + Conduct rigging of equipment of various weights and sizes.

    + Maintain assigned truck and service equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

    + Perform special projects, including large and/or special shop jobs.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience working with industrial motors or automotive/diesel transmissions and motors.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

    + Understand and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Camp Hill, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
