Job Title:Thid Shift Production Supervisor for a medical manufacturing company in Arden Hills
Job Description
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing an injection molding manufacturing operation, which includes supervising production leads and approximately 30-40 production operators. The role involves utilizing production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates to meet performance and cost expectations. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will address operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent production delays, while planning labor staffing to align with production forecasts.
Responsibilities
+ Interview, hire, and train employees.
+ Plan and direct work assignments.
+ Appraise employee performance and provide feedback.
+ Reward and discipline employees as needed.
+ Address and resolve employee complaints and operational problems.
+ Develop and maintain metrics for production.
+ Influence the engagement of the direct labor workforce through effective people skills.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as a Production Manager, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment.
+ Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with manufacturing software such as Epicor.
+ Proficiency in lean manufacturing processes.
+ Strong communication and people skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the plastics industry, specifically injection molding.
+ Expereicne in medical device manufacturing.
+ Experience working in a small to midsize company experiencing significant growth.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
