    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in the fabrication of pipe joining, fittings, and valves. The role involves reading blueprints and assembling basic pipes, connectors, and pieces according to job specifications, similar to assembling LEGO pieces but following precise blueprint instructions.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret blueprints to assemble pipes and connectors accurately.

    + Cut and groove pipes as per specifications.

    + Form and press gaskets efficiently.

    + Log data into a computer to track progress and updates.

    + Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.

    + Inspect and ensure quality of assembled products, such as valves.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in assembly.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools.

    + Experience with the assembly of manufactured equipment, including valves.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with pipe joining, connectors, and related products.

    + High energy and motivation.

    + Experience in pipe grooving and cutting.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean manufacturing environment with both assembly/fabrication and warehouse distribution sides. The facility is not climate-controlled but features large fans for ventilation. The team includes about 12 shop employees with roles such as CNC machinist, QC Technician, Manufacturing Trainer, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. Dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans, work shirt, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest. The position is 1st shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work based on project needs.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stafford, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
