    Job Title: Laser Operator

    Job Description

    A manufacturer in the Greenfield, IN area is seeking a skilled Laser Operator for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up and operating CNC laser machinery to cut holes in aluminum and carbon steel sheets or rolls.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up CNC laser machinery according to specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, making necessary adjustments based on quality checks.

    + Change out tooling as required.

    + Cut holes in aluminum and carbon steel sheets or rolls.

    + Utilize critical math skills and a tape measure for precision.

    + Operate various quality instruments such as gauges and calipers.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

    + Experience in machine setup and laser operation.

    + Experience in job shop and custom fabrication.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a CNC Laser Operator in a job shop environment.

    This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
