    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for sequencing products according to customer specifications, using RF scanning equipment to verify sequencing information, operating hand tools and assembly equipment, and basic office equipment. You will sort products for quality checking, perform quality checks per company/customer specifications, and ensure products are labeled and free from defects.

    Responsibilities

    + Sequence products per customer specifications.

    + Use RF scanning equipment to verify sequencing information.

    + Operate hand tools, assembly equipment, and basic office equipment.

    + Sort products for quality checking and defect containment.

    + Perform quality checks per company/customer specifications.

    + Ensure products are labeled and free from defects.

    + Complete other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, general production, assembly, warehouse operations, or forklift operation.

    + Ability to lift 35 pounds.

    + Capability to stand for 8 hours.

    + 1+ year of relatable experience.

    + Must have a valid driver's license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in cleanroom environments, machine operation, packaging, hand tool usage, packing, and machine operating.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is hectic and fast-paced, with temperature variations being hot in the summer and cold in the winters. You will interact with various team members, from office staff to assemblers and janitors, and work within a docking station, warehouse aisles, and assembly cells. The dress code includes wearing jeans and steel-toed shoes.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
