Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist

Job Description

Join our innovative team as a CNC Swiss Machinist, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating L12 and L20 machines. You will handle the entire process, including operation, setups, tooling changes, program editing, loading, and troubleshooting. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality medical parts through medium to high production runs.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate L12 and L20 CNC Swiss machines.

+ Manage the full process including operation, setups, tooling changes, editing programs, and troubleshooting.

+ Handle medium to high production runs for medical parts.

+ Inspect parts using microscopes, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, and other equipment.

+ Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Read and comprehend layouts, job travelers, and blueprints.

+ Ensure adherence to written manufacturing processes and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of CNC setup and Swiss operating experience.

+ Familiarity with operating L12 or L20 machines.

+ Experience with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing.

+ Proficiency in shop mathematics.

+ Knowledge and use of measuring tools.

+ Understanding of numerical control and CNC Swiss operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Experience with GD&T in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blaine, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr.
